June holidays training updates

Due to the rising cases of H1N1 virus, the table tennis camp will be postponed till the end of the year. The table tennis training will still CONTINUE on Thursday (25 June) and Friday (26 June) from 9.30am -12pm.

However, please take note of the following:
1) If you have been to affected areas such as Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America and have been back for LESS than 7 days, please DO NOT attend the training.
Do practise social responsibility and do not engage in extensive community activities such as shopping and participating in mass activities.

2) If you have not travelled to the affected areas or have been back for more than 7 days and is WELL, do come for training and BRING your own thermometer for all training sessions.

3) On the day of training, please take your temperature and ask someone to verify that you are not 38.1 degrees and above. Anyone above would have to be sent to the teachers. Also, do notify the teachers if you are unwell or if any of your friends is unwell.

Do e-mail me if you are unable to attend the training for reasons as mentioned above or any valid reasons.

Table Tennis Camp updates

The table tennis camp will not be a residential camp (no staying overnight). The dates have been changed from 24-25th June (wed & Thurs) to 24-25 (Thurs & Friday). The table tennis training will be taking place during the non-residential camp. Details will be advised once it is finalised. Please keep 24-25 June free!

Term 2 week 10 and holiday training schedules

1) Training resumes next week
Tuesday (26 May): 1.15-3.30pm
Thursday (28 May): 10.30am -12.30pm

2) Holidays training
week 1: Thursday (4th June) & Friday (5th June)- 9.30am-12pm
week 4: Tuesday (23th June)& Thursday (25th June): 9.30am -12pm

3) Table Tennis Camp

2 days 1 night camp on week 4 Wed (24 Jun) and Thurs (25 Jun).
It will end around 9.30-10pm on Thursday night.
Please make yourself free on these 2 days. More details will be given to you.

- compulsory for all (sec 1-4s)
- report in your yellow table tennis jersey at 3.45pm at the foyer

5) Chinese Swimming Club(CSC) -STTA Table Tennis Championships 2009
- tournament period: 30 May (sat) - 5 Jun (Fri) from 9am -10pm
- registration fee $10
- all are strongly encouraged to join so as to clock CCA points
- download registation forms at the websites either

- pass the registration forms and $10 fee to me by this Friday.
- last day of registration is 8 May 12pm
